Christie Spinks was born in Pittsburgh, PA and grew up in Charlotte, NC. She received a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Child and Family Development from UNCC in 1994. Christie taught handicapped children and was co-director of a daycare before entering Presbyterian School of Nursing in 1997. She graduated with a diploma in nursing in 2000 and worked at Carolina's Medical Center.  Christie has always enjoyed an active lifestyle playing softball and tennis from the age of 8 through high school. She now enjoys yoga, running and walking. She lives with her husband, Mike, and two kids, Kara and Brandon. Another passion of Christie's is volunteering at her church and her children’s school.  Christie's passion is to educate people in a positive healthy way. She looks forward to working with individuals to empower themselves and enrich their lives through Upgrade Lifestyle.
