On March 14, 2008 I signed on with Upgrade Lifestyle and what a road I’ve traveled!  I met my initial goal of an 18 pound weight loss by early June.  Weight loss was not my only goal and I am amazed daily at the change in my body and attitude.  My trainer, Kelly Fillnow, is wonderful to work with and challenges me at each and every session – the things she comes up with never cease to amaze.  She’s always there to answer my questions, offer good sound advice and lend support.   Both Kelly and Sarah are truly an inspiration.

I heard about Upgrade Lifestyle from two co-workers and watched them both succeed.  At 57, I had put on weight and lost the motivation to exercise regularly. I wasn’t eating as healthy as I knew I should.  I was tired and couldn’t muster the motivation to do something about it. I would attempt exercise and diet and never quite achieve anything more than a five pound weight loss – then I would backslide again. I had myself convinced this was simply part of aging and that I just had to accept this change.   NOT TRUE.  I am amazed at the success I’ve achieved and my change in attitude since I started working with Kelly.  Kelly has created a program geared to my lifestyle, where my likes and dislikes have been taken into consideration.  It works for me and I no longer think that once you reach a certain age you have to accept a certain lifestyle and body type.  Thank you Upgrade Lifestyle for putting me on the road to a healthier and happier me!   - Cathy Spencer

Ann Austin

Over the course of the last five months, Ann has completely changed her lifestyle, and it shows in her loss of 50 pounds and 20% of her body weight.  She understands what it means to live a healthy and balanced lifestyle day in and day out.  She understands the importance of making healthy nutrition choices and staying completely committed to her fitness routine.  She has learned so many new skills, which will be evident in her first triathlon this summer.  She has set personal records in every 5k she has run, and has found out how much she enjoys cycling.  With so much speed, even a fish cannot keep up with her in the water!  She has truly embraced the UpGrade Lifestyle and realizes her potential is limitless if she sets her mind to the task at hand.  I am so proud of Ann with all she has thus achieved, and inspired by her determination to keep reaching higher and higher! - Kelly Fillnow, Fitness Lifestyle and Nutrition Coach, Personal Trainer
